Margaret Shoaf has worked in the international tax area for more than 20 years.

Her clients include nonresidents who receive income in the United States from investments, may be immigrating to the United States or have started a new business in Florida. In addition, she works with businesses and individuals from the United States who have foreign income, foreign assets or foreign business activity.

Her accounting background includes working in both large and small public accounting firms.  With a broad background in accounting including small business consulting, general tax and international taxation, Margaret opened her office in 2000.

Margaret received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her certified public accounting license in Florida.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she’s been a resident of Sarasota since 1994.
